Ranchos de Taos

A New Years Resolution is to get back to work on this project. The idea continues to percolate
and I am excited to see it become reality.

A Tradition of Devotion is a project I have thought about for years and have decided to start the process of portraying the annual mudding of the Ranchos de Taos mission.

A Tradition of Devotion

Every year, the mission at Ranchos de Taos, San Francisco de Asissi, is replastered with fresh adobe. This is a tradition that has been happening since the construction of the mission in 1820. â€‹

THE PLAN
I have been intrigued by this annual event and am creating a portfolio of lithographs and woodblocks  from watercolors that have been created over a number of years.

The plan is to have four images each of woodblocks and lithographs make up the portfolio along with a page or two of copy and spot illustrations.

SCHEDULE
Projects like this take time and so I am hoping to have it complete sometime in 2026  but that can change if I add more images or pages.

PRICING
Just as the finish date is up in the air, so is the pricing. I am estimating that the price will be in the $2600 range for the eight prints.

FOLIO SIZE & EDITION

The paper size is 14x11" which means the folio will measure close to 15x12".

The edition size will be ten or twelve folios. Again, it all will be determined as the project is completed.
