About The Process
Of the four hand-print processes, my heart resides with woodblocks and serigraphs. I love the immediacy of both processes. Though all the print processes are labor intensive, woodblocks and serigraphy seem to have a spontaneity to them.
Relief Prints
.The relief print process is much like one of those nesting dolls where it looks simple at first glance but each layer reveals another aspect of the process.
Intaglio Prints
.The relief print process is much like one of those nesting dolls where it looks simple at first glance but each layer reveals another aspect of the process.
Serigraph Prints
.The serigraph print process uses a screen in which the ink is pushed through the selectively blocked out screen onto the paper using a squeegee.
