"Bisti Badlands"

A small watercolor study of the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness during an October visit. Snow fell two days before our visit. Sun arrived for our visit, creating little rivulets on lands that rarely sees running water. 
 
The paper is Money Paper which was briefly made from pulverized currency. Production was brief until the government thought better of the concept. The paper has a hard surface and takes washes wonderfully.
