2016 was a busy year starting with a wintery visit to Crested  Butte where I did a sketch of an old barn with a sunlit Crested Butte behind. The enlarged watercolor received Best of Show at the Society of Watercolor Artists Annual Exhibit in Ft Worth, Texas. The watercolor became a woodblock over the summer.
