THE FLOOR:
When the cabin was originally built, the floor joists were set directly on the ground witout a foundation. Over the years, the joists have rotted into the hill side.

Work Continues... I don't thin k it will ever stop. Now, we need to brace the dormer as the weight of the spring snows is cracking the joists.
Installing the cross brace....
The temporary supports inplace. Over the next few weeks, a log support structure will be installed to match the one already in place under the deck.
