Paintings of the Flint Hills
These are pastels from the most recent painting trip to the Flint Hills and the '09 Symphony in the Flint Hills. There will be a new book of Spring in a Tall Grass Prairie to be released in May of 2010. As I get more of the pastels photographed, I will post them on the web site.

I would love to hear all that the old cottonwoods have seen pass under their canopies.

There are about six more pastels that need to be photographed. I will start on the woodblocks for the book sometime in January. The pastels will be available at the American Legacy Gallery, Kansas City, during the opening.
